Bird Nests

Materials: Sticks, leaves, mud, cardboard, straw, paper

Activity: Build a bird-sized nest using sticks, twigs, leaves, mud, dried grass, etc. Build a kid-sized nest using cardboard, straw, paper, leaves, branches, etc.

Big Question: Where do birds build nests? Take a walk and look for nests. Watch where birds fly. Listen for young birds, as adult birds reach the nest.
