Materials: Rocks, mud, sand, sticks, plastic wrap, pool noodles
Activity: Build a Dam Activity: There is a stream at Bledsoe Park. Let's create some dams in the stream! Try building a beaver dam, gravity dam, embankment dam, arch dam, buttress dam. Afterwards, we will return the stream to it's original condition. Water Pressure Activity: Poke three holes in a cup, at various heights. Fill the cup with water. How does water flow out of each hole?
Research Question: How do the materials and the way you place them, affect how water travels in the stream?
