Let's Make Mud!

Materials: Sandy soil, clay soil, rocky soil, water

Activity: Mix soil and water to make your favorite kind of mud! Count scoops of soil or water. Take a coin for every scoop, to help keep track. Describe the mud, (runny, dough-ey, smooth, gritty). Divide mud into two cups. Cover one cup with plastic wrap, and let the other cup air dry.
