Materials: Vegetables and fruit from the garden, Matching vegetables and fruit from the store.
Activity: Pick a few vegetables, fruit and leaves from the garden. Compare them to store-bought varieties. (We have carrots, radishes, cucumber, cantaloupe, corn and cilantro.) Compare the way they look, feel, smell and taste.
Big Questions: Which vegetables and fruits are your most favorite and least favorite? How does the way they look, feel, smell and taste affect how much you like them?
