Materials: Paint, paper, pom-poms
Activity: Dip pom-poms in paint. Thinned tempera paint or liquid watercolor is good. Drop the pom-pom on the paper. Watch the paint splat!
Research Questions: How does the height from which a pom-pom is dropped affect the size and shape of the paint splat? How does the size of pom-pom affect it?
