Funnels, Bowls and Marbles

Materials: Bowl, marbles, tube, funnel

Activity: Attach a tube to the top of a funnel or bowl. Drop marbles through the tube and watch them swirl around the funnel or bowl.

Research Question: How does the direction of the tube affect the path of the marble?
