Magic Unfolding Flower

Materials: Different kids of paper (typing paper, colored typing paper, construction paper, origami paper, paper towel, wax paper), and water
Activity: Cut a flower out of paper. Fold the petals inward. Float the flower in water and watch the petals unfold!
Research Question: How does the type of paper affect how long it takes the flower to unfold?
