Materials: Light table, different objects
Activity: Place objects on a light table when the table is turned off, and then when it is turned on. How do the object's appearances change? Try using plastic shapes, water beads, magne-tiles, sand, mirrors, laminated color copies on transparency paper, and x-rays.
Research Question: How does whether a light table is turned on or off affect the appearance of objects on the light table?
