Fri, Jun 14, 2013

Materials: Super Bubble Solution, plastic 16 oz. bottle, washcloth, rubberband

Activity: Bubble Snake Activity: Cut off the base of a plastic bottle. Replace the base with a washcloth. Wrap a rubberband around the washcloth and bottle, to keep the washcloth in place. Dip the washcloth end of the bottle into bubble solution. Blow through the mouth of the bottle. Watch a bubble snake grow! Dip the mouth of a small cup in bobble solution. Place the small cup inside a plastic jar. Using a straw, blow a bubble onto the cup inside the jar. Add a lid to the jar. Now that your bubble is away from wind and dust, it may last for several hours or a day!

Research Question: How does the type of fabric affect the how the bubble snake looks? (Thin washcloth, thick washcloth, t-shirt, tulle)
