Materials: Steve Spangler's Colorful Growing Orbs
Activity: Add a small amount of orbs to water. They look like big sprinkles. Check on them every 20 minutes. They reach full size by 6 hours. They turn into squishy, bouncy, marble-size balls. Place orbs in different color containers, filled with water. When are orbs visible or hidden?
Research Questions: How big are orbs after they have been placed in water for 6, 4, 2 and 0 hours? How small are orbs after they have been left on the counter for 1, 2, or 3 days?
