Materials: Two paper cups, string (non-stretchable thread or kite string)
Activity: Poke a tiny hole in two paper cups. Thread string through each. Tie a knot, to keep string in place. I tied a small bead into my knot. Try yogurt containers and tin cans. Try multiple callers.
Research Questions: How does the type of cup affect sound? How does the type/distance of string affect sound? What happens if you add another caller to the line?
