OMatter and Measurement: Digital Microscope



Vocabulary: Names of objects, Colors, Sight words, Touch words

Materials: Rocks, Other natural objects, Coins, Other manufactured objects

Activity: Use the microscope to look closely at objects. Describe what you see. Identify what is surprising about your object.

Measurement: Measure how many times bigger your object shows up on the screen, by magnifying a dime and comparing it to a ruler lined with dimes, placed on the screen.
