OMatter and Measurement: In or Out of the Circle



Vocabulary: Alike, Different, Characteristics, Descriptive words for colors, shapes, textures, Matter, Properties

Materials: Interesting objects

Activity: Choose two objects. Describe how they are alike and different. Place one object in a circle. Add other objects to the circle, if you can describe how one characteristic is similar. Examples of characteristics can include color, shape, size, texture and origin.

Measurement: Measure the area of one side of the object, by how many squares it covers up..
